The RMBA?01 is a Modbus RTU adapter module that plugs into ABB’s ACS550/ACS800 drives, enabling them to act as Modbus RTU slaves communicating over a galvanically isolated RS?485 interface. It maps drive parameters and data set information into the standard 4xxxx register area, which can then be read from or written to by a Modbus master device (e.g., PLC, SCADA).
